Pros: Cools relatively well.
Cons: Crazy noisy. Made a grinding noise that was so loud, my neighbors complained to my apartment manager and I cannot use the unit at all now--as the noise is permanent and won't go away. Unless you mean it for use in a home where noise is not a problem, I do not recommend it.

Shopping Experience: I am not very impressed by the engineering of this product.
The way the vent hose attaches to the window kit is very flimsy. I had to duct tape it together to make it stay together.
The design of the drain spout makes it most difficult to drain since it is too close to the floor, not to mention that trying to attach tubing to the spout does not allow drainage without water leaking everywhere.
It does cool a small room fairly well.
I would not recommend this unit to anyone.
